I have just read a blog article regarding Dr. M. Scott Peck's book "People of the Lie," and I found several quotations from it do apply to the issue of Mr. Sutter and his penchants. Allow me to list several of these:

An illness or disease is [defined as] any defect in the structure of our bodies or personalities that prevents us from fulfilling our potential as human beings. For the label of disease implies that the disorder is not inevitable, that healing should be possible, that it should be studied scientifically and methods of treatment should be sought. The designation of evil as a disease also obligates us to approach the evil with compassion. . . Evil is distinguished by:

a) consistent destructive, scapegoating behavior, which may often be quite subtle.

b) excessive, albeit usually covert, intolerance to criticism . . .

c) pronounced concern with a public image and self-image of respectability . .

d) intellectual deviousness . . (p. 126-129)

It is not their sins per se that characterize evil people; rather, it is the subtlety and persistence and consistency of their sins. This is because the central defect of the evil is not the sin but the refusal to acknowledge it. (p. 69)

If evil people cannot be defined by the illegality of their deeds or the magnitude of their sins, then how are we to define them? The answer is by the consistency of their sins. While usually subtle, their destructiveness is remarkably consistent. This is because those who have “crossed the line” are characterized by their absolute refusal to tolerate the sense of their own sinfulness. (p. 71)

The reader will be struck by the extraordinary willfulness of evil people. . . There is a remarkable power in the manner in which they attempt to control others. . . Perhaps the evil are born so inherently strong-willed that it is impossible for them to ever to submit their will.

The evil in this world is committed by the spiritual fat cats, by the Pharisees of our own day, the self-righteous who think they are without sin because they are unwilling to suffer the discomfort of significant self-examination. . . . They are remarkably greedy people. [T]he most basic sin is laziness. [I]t may be pride – because all sins are repairable except the sin of believing one is without sin. (p. 72)

A predominant characteristic, however, of the behavior of those I call evil is scapegoating. Because in their hearts they consider themselves above reproach, they must lash out at anyone who does reproach them. They sacrifice others to preserve their self-image of perfection. . . Scapegoating works through a mechanism psychiatrists call projection. . . Since they must deny their own evil, they must perceive others as bad. They project their own evil onto the world. They never think of themselves as evil; on the other hand, they consequently see much evil in others. (p. 73-74) (This is perhaps the most obvious issue that distinguishes Mr. Sutter. Every issue that plagues him are thrust upon others who disagree with him.)

As has been noted, it is characteristic of those who are evil to judge others as evil. Unable to acknowledge their own imperfections, they must explain away their flaws by blaming others. And, if necessary, they will even destroy others in the name of righteousness. (p. 255) (Again, Mr. Sutter has done whatever he can to destroy the life and reputation of Jeanette Runyon (Lady Predator), in order to placate his own flaws and deceptions.)

Utterly dedicated to preserving their self-image of perfection, [the evil] are unceasingly engaged in the effort to maintain the appearance of moral purity. They worry about this a great deal. They are acutely sensitive to social norms and what others might think of them. . . While they seem to lack any motivation to be good, they intensely desire to appear good. Their “goodness” is all on a level of pretense. It is, in effect, a lie. This is why they are the “people of the lie.” Yet the self-deceit would be unnecessary if the evil had no sense of right and wrong. We lie only when we are attempting to cover up something we know to be illicit. (p. 75-76) (Hence, we see him building up his resume of supposed accreditations and awards--which cannot be substantiated, and have blogs that propose to combat "hate-speech" websites.)

The evil hate the light – the light of goodness that shows them up, the light of scrutiny that exposes them, the light of truth that penetrates their deception. (p. 77)

The evil are “the people of the lie,” deceiving others as they also build layer upon layer of self-deception. [W]hile evil people are still to be feared, they are also to be pitied. Forever fleeing the light of self-exposure and the voice of their own conscience, they are the most frightened of human beings. (p. 66-67)

AND, here is a quotation regarding how to deal with him:

"In The Road Less Traveled" I defined mental health as “an ongoing process of dedication to reality at all costs.” Satan is utterly dedicated to opposing that process. In fact, the best definition I have for Satan is that it is a real spirit of unreality. (p. 206-207) (Mr. Sutter's objective is to present himself as one who is who he ISN'T, and we must continually combat him with reality. We must also realize that he is mentally ill, by his lack of acknowledging reality, and lack of any gravity for the damage he commits towards others. He shouldn't be hated, but rather pitied.)

I have an uncle who actually experienced all of the things that this phoney preacher claims. The difference between an actual war hero and this cretin is that one who actually experienced the violence and degradation of war, battling an enemy who will kill you if you do not kill HIM first, is that one who actually experiences it does not wish to talk about his "exploits," and when they do, they must be prompted to do so for posterity.

My uncle (a Marine corporal) was actually wounded in Vietnam, once, but that was all it took. He lost much of the use of his right arm and hand because of his wounds (from an enemy ambush), and frankly I do not know how he came out of it alive, since many of the men with him were killed. There are a LOT of details that I do not know regarding his tour in Vietnam, and I may never know more than I know now, because I respect him too much to bother him about the horrors he experienced there.

To see this piece of garbage claim to have served this country as a "Navy SEAL," and was wounded a bunch of times, and was awarded the Navy Cross, and the rest of it just angers me. He talks about it so cavalierly, so matter-of-factly, and so blatently PROUD about it, that there can be no doubt that this "man" seriously needs to be put in his place.

Sutter, if you read this, I just want you to know that if you actually do believe in God, that you're going to get your comeuppance someday, and you WILL answer for your theft of so many other men's true honor, and your moral bankruptcy.

The he posts the defamation that Aqunio was on trial for child molestation as part of Satanic rituals. Aquino was never tried or even charged with any crime, anytime, anywhere.
